The village of Fadmore

The village of Fadmore is on the road out of Farndale, through Gillamoor and heading for Kirkbymoorside or Helmsley. It has typical wide village green and an excellent source of organic vegetables. Christmas would not be complete without the contribution from Howard and Rosemary Wass's Newfields Organics!

Sadly, Howard Wass died suddenley in 2008, but the organic vegetable production line is carried on by his family, and, hopefully, long may organic farming flourish in Fadmoor village.

The local pub is the Black Sheep Brewery's THE PLOUGH and restaurant - NOW CLOSED.

Why not call in at Newfields Organics (on the right of above picture) for some lovely organic vegetables to cook in that self-catering holiday cottage!
