YHA The Sill at Hadrian's Wall is the brand new Youth Hostel opened in 2018 at The Sill, a landscape discovery centre, in partnership with the Northumberland National Park Authority. The Sill is a high spec hostel located in the beautiful countryside of the Northumberland National Park and ideally suited for you to explore the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage site, located just a few hundred metres away. You are also close to the iconic Sycamore Gap and the Roman fort at Vindolanda. The Sill also includes the Discovery Centre with its innovative learning spaces and spectacular viewing platforms.

The Sill is a 86 bed hostel with all the facilities you'd expect from YHA including a self-catering kitchen, classroom for group and school residential use, and relaxing social areas. The Sill's 26 bedrooms are split evenly across two floors and consist of either two or four beds. Eighteen of the Sill's rooms are en-suite. All the Sill's bedrooms have free Wi-Fi and Salto key card access, making the Sill a really secure place to stay.

	The roof of the Sill is a sort of 'sky walk' and beyond the solar panels a wooden walkway takes you around borders of poor soil designed to encourage the growth of wild flowers. Its another delight of the Sill and great views all round.
