Holy Trinity Church in Jesmond, a suburb of Newcastle, is quite a fine looking building in both its exterior and interior architecture.

My visit was due to being a member of the male voice choir, 'The Dalesmen Singers' based at Danby on the North York Moors.

We are all summoned to attend at least one regional choir practice before the massed choir event to be held in the Sage Concert Hall, Gateshead in March 2015. Holy Trinity church, Jesmond, by Churchill Gardens and Jesmond Road was built in 1905 by Hicks and Charlewood.

Holy Trinity has a tall west tower with a spire and Decorated style tracery in the windows.

There a number of fine stained glass windows in the nave aisle of Holy Trinity, many with army or navel military and other nautical connections. So, Holy Trinity has a fascinating set of windows which were installed as a set, and as a memorial. They were designed by the Nicholson Studios and contain a lot of regimental badges, pictures of ships, as well as the religious imagery
