15a. Ardgillan Demesne in North County Dublin

North of Dublin in between the coastal resort towns of Skerries and Balbriggan lies the Ardgillan Demesne consisting of a fine house and sweeping expansive grounds you can walk around.

Ardgillan Castle: lovely parkland and the sea beyond

Ardgillan Castle was built in 1738 by the Reverend Robert Taylor.

The gardens and grounds are well worth a visit to stroll around and all is well maintained by the local council.
