Bray Air Display Show 2018 off the coast of County Wicklow Phil and Molly's Dublin City and surrounding County area scenes and notes Ireland - Dublin Scenes and Notes Index Ireland - Irish Landscape holiday walks pictures and notes including NI See also Town of Bray, Greystones and coastal walk This spectacular air display took place over the sea at Bray, Sunday 29th July, 2018. The beach was packed with an enthusiastic audience of spectators. Everybody gets a good view as the aircraft performed at a relatively close, but, at a safe distance.
The crowds gradually building up.
The weather did cause some delay in proceedings, but all were patient and relaxed!
The Irish Coast Guard helicopter, a Sikorsky S-92A, registration EI-ICD, was one of the first aircraft to appear.

The Irish Coast Guard were patrolling the sea just offshore from the onlookers.
LÉ Róisín (P51) is the lead ship of her class of offshore patrol vessel in the Irish Naval Service. The ship's primary mission is fisheries protection, search and rescue, and maritime protection operations, including vessel boardings.

The two seater biplane No. 27 EI-HFD coming in, part of Irish Historic Flight. EI-HFD is a Boeing Stearman E75 (A75N1). It was build in the U.S.A. on 1st May 1943 and was powered by a Lycoming R680-17-B4E radial engine. It was used by the United States Navy.
