off the coast of County Wicklow
Phil and Molly's Dublin City and surrounding County area scenes and notes
This spectacular air display took place over the sea at Bray, Sunday 29th July, 2018.
The beach was packed with an enthusiastic audience of spectators.
Everybody gets a good view as the aircraft performed at a relatively close, but, at a safe distance.
The crowds gradually building up.
The weather did cause some delay in proceedings, but all were patient and relaxed!
The Irish Coast Guard helicopter, a Sikorsky S-92A, registration EI-ICD, was one of the first aircraft to appear.
Quite a spray effect as the helicopter hovered over the sea.
Demonstration of lowering a man down to effect a rescue.
The Irish Coast Guard were patrolling the sea just offshore from the onlookers.
