The lovely setting of Castleton Show on the cricket ground, viewed from just below the High Street of the village and beyond is the road bridge over the River Esk.
The pony sports are a popular activity and are held in a field across the road from the cricket ground where the main show is.
The Downe and Outs Jazz Band supply the music for Castleton Show enthusiastically conducted by the ebullient Andy Dyer on keyboards!
The finale in the late afternoon sunlight is the grand Tug-of-War!!!

The photographic competitions are keenly entered into by many people and many different classes of photographs to compete and enter in.
Some lovely and lovingly cared for vintage-classic old motorbikes/motorcycles.
The annual service of the well looked after Morris Minor, yes sit back and let the mechanics do the work on this vintage classic!
The yellow car is a Caterham 'Lotus 7' (Y7 CSR) and often built as a kit car but can be bought complete from Caterham Cars. [thanks to AS Huddleston for the information]
