(previous picture) 55. The Gallarus Oratory, The Dingle Peninsular, Co. Kerry, West of Ireland. This stands on an early Christian site of the 7th century, but the wonderful, still waterproof corbelled stone structure probably dates from the 9th or 10th century. (next picture)
