Theakston's The Bull Inn Free House is near the fine bridge over the River Ure in the pretty village of West Tanfield in North Yorkshire. The late medieval Marmion Tower Gatehouse is well worth a climb into with a good view of the Church St Nicholas and quiet friendly village. The church is well worth a visit and please leave a donation to help in its upkeep.
