The church of St Michael, dating from the late 12th century, is a splendid discovery in such a small and quiet. There are some other lovely buildings in this friendly village such as Well Hall (private house with 13th-18th century sections) and the Almshouses (late 18th century), both just up from the Church. The church is well worth a visit (including a Roman pavement mosaic) and please leave a donation to help in its upkeep.
