Scaling Dam, Cleveland - North Yorkshire border, Northern England

The Grapes Inn, Scaling Dam, lies on the busy A171 main road from Guisborough in Cleveland to Whitby in North Yorkshire. It offers good pub food and there is a lovely walk all around the Scaling Dam reservoir and plenty of wildlife to see as well, prior to retiring to the Grapes!  Good car park and picnic spot near the Scaling Dam Sailing Club. The small quiet village of Scaling is on the northern edge of the North York Moors. Whitby Scenes * North York Moors Scenes  * Cleveland scenes *
