Little Salkeld, The Eden valley, East Cumbria, England 

	There are several lovely walks by the River Eden, in The Eden valley of East Cumbria. One of circular walk includes the prehistoric stone circle of Long Meg and Her Daughters (more pictures-notes), and the curious Lacy's Caves carved out of sandstone rocks above the River Eden. The Eden Valley is one of the relatively unknown treasures of rural northern England.
	En route one can call in for some lovely homemade organic food at the The Watermill cafe tea room, Little Salkeld, Cumbria, England, which also has a working watermill to grind the flour.
