Moorsholm, Cleveland - North Yorkshire border, Northern England

The Jolly Sailor Inn on the busy A171 main road from Guisborough in Cleveland to Whitby in North Yorkshire and offers good food and a friendly welcome.  The 'pub' lies on the northern edge of the North York Moors. Just before, and just after the Jolly Sailor, there are several lay-bys (made from parts of the original A171) to stop for a driving rest or picnic with views of the striking, but naturally formed Freeborough Hill. The Jolly Sailor is on the middle-left of the top-right picture.
