Masham is lovely village-cum town set above the banks of the River Ure. The 'Suncatchers Cafe' (above and left) a bit 'alternative' with soft comfortable sofas! and a bit more agreeable than an alabaster repose! The church is well worth a visit and please leave a donation to help in its upkeep.

Bordar House Teas (above) behave yourself in the Market Place because just round the back is the old NRY police station of the North Riding of Yorkshire!

Masham, North Yorkshire, Northern England The 'Cafe Royal' is a licensed restaurant and takeaway (above left) and is really a good old-fashioned fish and chips emporium! Next to it the 'Fancy That' Tearoom and across the road the 'Mad Hatters' Tea Room, so one is spoilt for choice.

The Bruce Arms (left) The Bay Horse (above) are two pubs occupying Georgian houses? not sure on the architecture, but there are many fine buildings around the centre of Masham.
