The Waterwheel Inn and Carvery is in Liverton Village is on the B1366
road that runs north to Loftus off the busy A171 main road
from Guisborough to Whitby. The Water Wheel offers good pub
food and a friendly welcome. Nearby down the road is the
Rebuilt medieval church of St Michael which contains some
fine Norman stonework carving. The village lies in farmland
but the road down off the A171 runs through part of the
moorland of edge of the North York Moors. *
