Kettleness, North Yorkshire, North East Coast of England

Kettleness is a small community on the wild north-east coast of North Yorkshire. Kettleness, apart from your own picnic, I don't think offers refreshments, but there are plenty places a few miles south down the coast at Sandsend or north to Runswick Bay. There is excellent coastal walking on this part of coastal North Yorkshire on part of the Cleveland Way and wonderful views across to Runswick Bay from the headland at Kettleness. The views from the trains of the now disused Teesside to Whitby coastal railway must have been spectacular. * Scenes around Whitby * North York Moors scenes * Cleveland Scenes *
