	Hexham is a lovely historic market town west of Newcastle in Northumbria. The Cornmill Coffee Shop (left & right) accompanied by the 'Body Work Centre' for complementary therapies provides good refreshments - though all we needed was a good pot of tea and a good snack and you have the choice to sit outside in a quiet square to. The wonderful Hexham Abbey Church is well worth a visit and, out of the market square, into the jail museum too!

*  A cup of tea please! or fine ales & beers or specialist teas or ordinary teas or coffees and home baked cakes, bar meals 'pub grub' and other food and organic cooking if possible please! after a good day out walking or exploring a village, town or city on foot!
