The Barrel Inn,
Bretton, near the plague village of Eyam was welcome stop
for some good hot after a cool and misty trip to Monsal
Dale, Derbyshire, England. The Inn dates from 1597 or 1637 depending on
which plaque in the pub you read! and is beside an old Roman
road.
