The Lion Inn pub on Blakey Ridge, North York Moors, North Yorkshire, sits on a wild moorland ridge between Farndale on its east and Rosedale on its west on the Castleton to Hutton-le-Hole road a few miles south of Ralph's Cross. It is a very popular pub all year round these days. By the Blakey Inn is a prehistoric burial mound and standing stone overlook Farndale.
