	Ballyferriter (Baile 'n Fheirtéaraigh), on the Dingle Peninsular, Co. Kerry, Ireland is a busy but friendly tourist village with a combined cafe and museum explaining the history and archaeology of the area. More pictures and notes on Ballyferriter area

	Cafe na Cille opposite St Vincent's Roman Catholic church has good budget food and good views of the coast from the back window!

	Tigh Ui Chathάin pub, as do several others in Ballyferriter (Baile an Fhirtearaigh), offers food, good craic and traditional music e.g. after a good walk over The Three Sisters by Smerwick Harbour and watching the sunset over Sybil Head.

	Bun an Chnoic rented holiday cottage-house has the most wonderful views towards the sea e.g. The Three Sisters and Smerwick Harbour and the Mount Brandon Mountain range.

	Tig Bhric west of Ballyferriter, just inland from the wonderfully safe and scenic Wine Strand beach in Smerwick Harbour bay. It offers good food and traditional music in the evenings (after 10pm!). Close by is the historic remains of the site of an early Christian settlement.
