5. The return rail journey: Kyle of Lochalsh-Inverness-Edinburgh
The Scottish Youth Hostel at Kyleakin for a friendly an international and sociable nights rest.
A few fishing boats still work out of Kyle of Lochalsh harbour.
Just me and seagull waiting for the mid-day train!
Wetter weather on the return journey, but it can add to the drama of the landscape!
and keeps the lochs filled up!
Crossing a river near Perth, no doubt good for fishing, then onto Edinburgh for the train home to Yorkshire.
