Despite this, I hope the five pages of photographs convey the wonderful railway trip holiday in Scotland I so much enjoyed. I must travel on the Mallaig line soon! Page 6. Edinburgh Part II - Continuing down to Holyrood Palace and back up to the Scot Monument * Scotland is traversed by some of the most scenic railway lines any tourist can undertake in the UK or even Europe? * Why more people, 'the tourists' on holiday, do not forsake their cars and take to the 'train line' for a day I can't explain.
