*  Whatever the scenes or the state of the weather before us, rocks always seem to figure large in the various wild or rural landscape we walk in on our holidays. Even the stone of the buildings situated in these landscapes, or cities, towns and villages we visit as 'tourists'. I only wish I knew more geology to interpret what we see around us!  *
