6. Miscellaneous odd bits and bobs in Paris.
One of the memorials you find on Parisian houses acknowledging the sacrifices individual people made in with the French Resistance fighting the Germans in World War II. In this case Roger Guimet, aged 20 years, died on August 25th (le 25 Aout) 1944 in the liberation of Paris.
