1b. LONDON St Pancras Stations - Suburban and International Cameo Snaphots Images of the City of London
The magnificent brickwork and stonework of the Victorian St Pancras Station and Grand Hotel, the work of the architect Sir George Gilbert Scott. It was completed in 1876 for the Midland Railway in true Victorian 'Gothic' style and Tudor style chimneys?
The Clock Tower
This busy station runs trains by the East Midlands Trains railway company to e.g. Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield as well as the Gatwick Express and the Thameslink service from Bedford to Brighton.
The newly painted great iron structure supporting the arched roof of St Pancras International Terminal Station, now the terminus of Eurostar trains to the continent e.g. trains to Paris, Disneyland Paris, Brussels, Lille, Avignon and Ski.
You can see the Eurostar Train on the right beneath the great iron arches of the roof of St Pancras Station.
