8. The Farndale Show The Farndale show is held every August Bank Holiday Monday and what a beautiful setting for the show so I'll let the pictures taken on August 31st 2009 speak for themselves, and hopefully again in 2010.
Farndale Showfield, stunning views from the show field of the lovely dale of Farndale.
Young stockmen and stockwomen being judged on their efforts in preparing livestock for showing, they await the final results!

There was a lovely flower arranging display in St Mary's Church, next to the showfield.
The Victorian stained glass window is as colourful as the flower arrangements.
