The English Lake District - Cumbria
Walking below the hills around Easedale Tarn.
Beauty personified, even on a 'mixed weather' day!
Lots of golden coloured bracken - looks great now in winter, but awful in the summer.
The pictures can speak for themselves.

Looking down to Grasmere before returning to the village.
Excellent walking country!

Walking in the late afternoon is atmospheric as any time in the day.

Goodbye Grasmere and thanks kids for the primary school art display by the 'car-park' aka school playground. The art is clearly influenced by the surroundings, and, is this painting to the point of abstraction? as is the work of the northern artist Peter Hicks?
