The bridge over the River Blackwater at lower Kilmacow, no doubt the site of a medieval bridge and there is an old church site and ancient graveyard above the bridge just in the village of lower Kilmacow.

There are lots of beautiful trees dotted around the fertile land and the lanes are most pleasant to walk around.
An old Scots Pine overhangs the road down to the house and old mill, Greenville, Kilmacow of which we have fond memories.
Skeard farm, near Milltown, Kilmacow, like many such rural properties, sadly abandoned and no more rashers and boiled spuds to be had anymore!
