The 'Irish Harp' memorial on the Sheep's Head Peninsula to the Air India plane crash in 1985

The 'Irish Harp' memorial garden on the Sheep's Head Peninsula to the Air India plane crash in 1985, due to an extremist group bombing. The aircraft went down in the sea off County Cork (see also the first picture on page 22). A most beautiful setting for such a sad memorial.

After tea in Durrus, an evening trip out to some prehistoric standing stones or megaliths.

The two remaining prehistoric standing stones of Coolcoulaghta, 2 miles south of Durrus

The two remaining prehistoric standing stones of Coolcoulaghta, 2 miles south of Durrus, their alignment seems to point in the direction of the Dunbeacon Stone Circle on the next hill (see below)
