8. Connemara coast, hedgerows and mountains in Co. Galway
The ruins of Renvyle Castle (right) and the Mweelrea and Maanturk Hills-Mountains of Connemara in the distance. The cottage we stayed in is on the distant right of the ruined Renvyle Castle tower, perfect for a final evening walk to observe the sunsets (see page 7.).
Mweel Rea Mountain beyond the hedgerows of fuchsia and monbretia.
The lovely and uncrowded Lettergesh Beach and Mweelrea mountain on the distant right.
... endless glorious hedgerows of fuchsia, monbretia, purple loosestrife and always mountains in the background.
Always the sea, beaches, mountains and wild flowers of the hedgerows in the wonderful West of Ireland. * Page updated July 11th 2008 * EMAIL Phil Brown * Please note that I do NOT take bookings * Pictures © Phil Brown docspics 2008 * If you are interested in using any of the photographs email me, but any image used must involve permission and acknowledgement that the picture is from www.docbrown.info/docspics/ * |
