7. The village of Fadmoor This page is dedicated to the memory of Howard Wass and his organic farm
The village of Fadmore is on the road out of Farndale, through Gillamoor and heading for Kirkbymoorside or Helmsley. It has typical wide village green and an excellent source of organic vegetables. Christmas would not be complete without the contribution from Howard and Rosemary Wass's Newfields Organics!
Sadly, Howard Wass died suddenley in 2008, but the organic vegetable production line is carried on by his family, and, hopefully, long may organic farming flourish in Fadmoor village. |
