13a. Quiet Spots - the coast on the Sutton-Malahide Road in north County Dublin
The sands at Sutton on Strand Road are one of many coastal stopping off place for many wild birds from waders to geese.
Things are not too crowded away from the city on the coast!
A golf course and Ireland's Eye in the background You can walk from Sutton Dart Station to Howth and if the tide is out a reasonable distance you can walk back or get the train!

The island of Ireland's Eye is always is view with its Martello Tower on the left. It has been inhabited for many years who are partially self-sufficient to cut down on the travelling!

A nice example of coastal erosion - mainly of glacial deposits.
